Happy Birthday Zoe!

Yes, that's right, you heard it, Zoe it one today! So as you know, we treat this little thing as our child. It's sad, I'll admit that. Ben was so excited about her birthday, it was kinda cute. He wouldn't stop telling her happy birthday all day. I'm excited to see how he is when our kids have birthdays. It'll be fun. Anyway, we forgot that today was her birthday until this morning. Since it's Sunday and we couldn't go buy her a new toy or anything, Ben had another bright idea. He convinced me to let her have a birthday cake...made out of people food! It was a stretch for me. Ben cut two pieces of bread into circles, then layered them like a real cake. We couldn't use normal frosting, that we clog Zoe's arteries even worse, so he used peanut butter to "frost" the cake. I left the kitchen for a minute and returned to find that Ben had found a candle and decorating frosting to write on the "cake". It actually turned out really cute. I was proud of him. So, like proud parents we took a ton of pictures, this is just one before she got a good taste of the peanut butter. We only let Zoe eat half of the "cake" because she was eating it so fast that she was choking. She had a little bit of a problem with the peanut butter sticking to the roof of her mouth, but that was half of the fun!Happy birthday Zoe!
