BYU
Ben and I went to BYU last night to hear all about the Social Work program. Ben was one of the few from Weber State to be invited to a dinner with the Alumni and heads of the program. We felt very fortunate to have that opportunity. We were able to ask any question that we wanted to. To say the least, they are very convincing! We went down there thinking that there was no way we'd want to go to BYU. We want to move out of state and BYU is a two year program instead of a one year program. However, we left thinking that maybe we really do want to go to BYU. It sounds like such a great program that prepares the students to be great therapists. Also, the tuition is so, so cheap ($15,000 difference cheap). And it's 2 hours away from home...maybe that's far enough away. Also, if I want to go to UofU, I'll get in state tuition and possibly be able to go at the same time Ben is in school. We don't know! We're going to have a big decision to make in a couple of months with lots of praying. Does anyone just want to tell us what to do? That'd be great.

I'll tell you what to do! Look into Univ. of Washington, realize it is the best school ever, move to the great state of Washington (preferably next to Kellie), have babies that will be friends with Kellie's, grow old living next door to Kellie. Good life plan!
ReplyDeleteThat actually does sound like a good life plan! Actually, what might be better...You and Andy move home to Utah where you can be close to all of your girls and your wonderful family. Then, all of our babies will be friends for life, they'll actually probably get married! Yup, married. But seriously, we (Ben) may be applying to both Walla Walla and the Univ. of Washington. We'll see!
