Farewell to Wrestling

This cute little husband of mine is finally done with wrestling...until we have a little boy, or so he says. Last week he took his team to California to wrestle in the Regional Championship. His body is getting old and he didn't do as well as he usually does, but I'm still so proud of him. He didn't come home with any new injuries. He is having a difficult time accepting that he is done wrestling. He says that he will always be involved in the sport in some way, but for now he realizes that it is time for him to move on to more important things in life, like being a daddy and going to graduate school. I'm proud of him for the hard work that he put into coaching the Weber State team. He started it from scratch and made it become something that many people could enjoy. He did all of this as a complete service, with absolutely no reward. He's had to do all of this on top of all of his other responsibilities. It's amazing. This is one last picture that he got with this years team in California. They had a lot of fun.
